The 2025 edition of the Socialist Modernist Calendar/Architectural Guide will be available starting the 18 December!
The 2025 Socialist Modernist Calendar – which doubles as an architectural guide – it has the dimensions open (350×520 mm) and folded (350×260 mm). With it, the BACU Association launches its first calendar/architectural guide, a product that allows you to travel through the twelve months of the year accompanied by some of the most representative examples of socialist modernist architecture, but also keep updated on their state of conservation thanks to the QR codes connected to our site www.socialistmodernism.com. The calendar strives to bring to the attention of an international public valuable buildings threatened by demolition, abandoned or ignored by local authorities and even by professionals.
The 2025 edition of the Socialist Modernist Calendar inaugurates a new series of publications in the Socialist Modernism collection, that extensively researches the most representative buildings associated with this architectural style in the former socialist bloc (Romania, Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Former Yugoslavia, Poland, Ukraine, etc.). It is an ideal Christmas gift for architects, engineers, visual artists and all those interested in preserving built cultural heritage.
