Socialist Modernism in Former Yugoslavia, 1950s–1980s – 3rd edition
by Sandra Uskoković and Dumitru Rusu – B.A.C.U. Association
The third edition of the Socialist Modernism volume on the former Yugoslavia presents 76 landmarks of socialist modernist architecture in the former Yugoslavia, organised by function into six sections. A map at the beginning of the book shows the location of every building.
In colour photographs, the B.A.C.U. Association explains the socialist modernist tendencies of the period and presents a functional image of each building and its often original elements, which synthesise local culture and traditions, together with its current state of conservation.
